This week we welcomed another great couple into Toby’s! Part of our welcome pack includes a variety of goodies sourced from the vast range of gourmet providores, wineries and restaurants in the local region. The South West boasts an incredible standard of food, wine and entertainment and we are proud to support and be located within such close proximity to so many exceptional culinary and hospitality providers. We are delighted to welcome Anne and Neil as our first residents at Toby’s Inlet Estate! We could not have hoped for a better couple to have as our founding residents. Anne and Neil purchased a Gaffer design house and they are as delighted with the house as we are! We briefly caught up with Anne and Neil to ask them a few questions –
Toby’s: Why did you choose Toby’s Inlet Estate Dunsborough?
Anne & Neil: We had been researching over 55 villages and saw an advertisement for Toby’s – basically, the more we read, the more we liked!
Toby’s: What appeals to you about living within a retirement community?
Anne & Neil: We just love the idea of being part of a community, having similar aged people with similar interests to spend our retirement years with.
What do you love about the area/location?
We have always loved the South West and have holidayed in the region often, in our caravan.
What do you love about the facilities on offer?
The list is never ending…everything! You can join in with so many activities, or not, depending on how you feel. There will always be something to do.
What has your experience been like dealing with the Toby’s Inlet Estate team?
We just can’t fault it! From first contact to moving in they have been there for us all the way. Nothing is too much trouble, they have been in constant contact and we know they will always be there for us in the future. We can’t praise their service, professionalism and commitment enough.

We are thrilled to have reached practical completion for the very first home at Toby’s Inlet Estate! Dale Alcock South West have done a wonderful job and site supervisor Craig Minchim’s care for quality and detail has been greatly appreciated. Gordon Genat our Managing Director was on site today for final walk though (shoes off to keep those NSW blackbutt timber floors spotless). More houses to come over the following few weeks and home displays launching very shortly!!!

The Christmas season is nearly here! Our sister village, Nova Village Busselton, is excited to be hosting a Twilight Christmas Market on Saturday 30th November between 5pm and 7pm. The relaxed evening in our Village Square will include local stalls, carols, mulled wine, sausage sizzle, Christmas treats and more. It is a great opportunity to find that unique Christmas gift or just unwind and enjoy some Christmas cheer with a friendly crowd. Hope to see you there!

On the 3-4 of November the Toby’s Inlet Estate team attended the Perth Village Expo 2019. Hosted at the Curtin Technology Centre it was the first event run in Perth by the well experienced group – Retirement Village Expo (RVE). With over 20 years experience of running similar events successfully on the east coast of Australia the team from RVE unsurprisingly did a fantastic job hosting Perth’s first expo. The two days enabled visitors to explore what retirement villages are on offer and the benefits each provided for their residents. Our Toby’s and Nova team were thrilled to take part and enjoyed speaking to many people interested in our South West villages. RVE will be hosting their next expo in approximately 6 months time, stay tuned for final date and time announcements. If you are interested in village living these expo’s should not be missed! We hope to see you at the next one:)
